Dawiso Update: Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025

Dawiso’s 2024 year in review: new partnerships, security certifications, and industry milestones that set the stage for AI governance and data products in 2025.

2024: A Year of Growth and Innovation

Dawiso had a busy and transformative year in 2024, marked by significant industry events, new partnerships, and much more. Here’s a glimpse of what happened:

  • Big Data London: Dawiso joined Keboola at their booth on one of the biggest Europe data events to showcase how both platforms work together to simplify data product management. This collaboration demonstrated the power of integrating data governance with modern data operations.
  • IT for Finance: We highlighted how data transparency helps financial leaders make better decisions. Stay tuned for articles and podcast episode with CAFIN.
  • Other Events: From Stockholm and Berlin to the KPMG Data Festival or the first year of DAMA Day in Prague, Dawiso connected with professionals across Europe, sharing insights on data culture and governance, and demonstrating data cataloging solutions.

Collaboration With Keboola: A Seamless Partnership

This year we started collaboration with Keboola. Together, we’ve built solutions that redefine how businesses manage data products.

Here’s how it works: Dawiso provides a metadata scanner that enables cataloging and governance for data managed in Keboola. With planned enhancements, users will soon be able to identify Keboola tables as data products, scan them into Dawiso, and document them for easy publishing in the Dawiso marketplace. This makes managing and governing data products effortless.

Data products respond to the growing need for decentralized teams to work independently with data. Dawiso ensures these products are accessible and governed.

Keboola wasn’t our only partner this year. We also collaborated with esteemed companies such as Dolphin Consulting, KPMG, and PwC, participating in their events firsthand. Additionally, we worked alongside Adastra, Profinit, and Billigence. A highlight of our partnership with Dolphin Consulting is the release of a new podcast episode of Delfíni na vlnách, featuring an insightful discussion with Dawiso’s CEO, Petr Mikeška.

Security and Trust

In 2024, we achieved key security certifications, including ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27018, reinforcing commitment to safeguarding client data. These certifications position Dawiso as a trusted partner for organizations prioritizing compliance and data protection.

2025: Trends and the Dawiso Vision

Looking ahead, Dawiso is gearing up for an exciting 2025. Here’s what we see on the horizon:

  • AI Governance: With regulations like the EU AI Act, managing AI responsibly is crucial. Dawiso provides tools to document AI models, track data lineage, and ensure AI data are transparent and compliant.
  • AI-Powered Data Management: Features like the Dawiso AI Chatbot Assistant make interacting with data easier. By combining business logic with AI, we’re turning complex datasets into clear questions and answers.
  • Data Products as a Focus: Data products are becoming essential for decentralized organizations. Dawiso simplifies its design, documentation, and governance. Easily accessible in the Dawiso marketplace.
  • Data Governance at the Core: Governance remains vital for turning data into a valuable asset. Dawiso’s user-friendly tools ensure businesses can maintain trust in their data.

We’re here to help businesses navigate the future of data with confidence and clarity.
