Dawiso CEO Petr Mikeška spent over a decade at Profinit delivering enterprise data projects for Société Générale, VIG, Generali, and others. Co-founder Michal Ventruba spent a decade as Head of BI at Komerční banka (Société Générale Group), building an environment that earned the Gartner BI Excellence Award.
Both saw the same pattern: organizations sitting on valuable data they couldn't turn into trustworthy business assets. Business disconnected from technical reality. No way to package data into governed, reusable products.
SoGe couldn't find it. So we built it.
In 2019, Société Générale's Center of Excellence in Prague needed to govern metadata across dozens of entities. They'd evaluated every tool on the market. Nothing fit. Petr seized the opportunity and spun off Dawiso from UD4D — a dedicated product company built by practitioners who'd spent years inside enterprise data problems.
Enterprise after enterprise followed.
Kooperativa (VIG Group), ČEZ, Nationale-Nederlanden, Stora Enso — building with demanding customers across banking, insurance, energy, and manufacturing made the platform uniquely robust and configurable. Now we're expanding across Europe and into the US, with 20+ partners and a clear vision: help enterprises create AI-ready data products.
