Nick is a qualified South African Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor with 15 years of experience in external audit at the Big 4. He spent 6 years serving as the Head of Internal Audit for a multi-national, Nasdaq-listed company and is currently the Director of Risk & Compliance at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Nick brings a wealth of experience, including identifying, assessing, and monitoring risk, as well as developing and executing risk-based audit plans covering financial statement, process, and compliance audits. He has also assessed ICFR frameworks to ensure SOX compliance, managed relationships with key business stakeholders, and provided proactive, value-added solutions to mitigate risks. Nick regularly reports to Audit Committees and is a mentor and coach, dedicated to the development of his team members.
